Sagramoso Valpolicella Superiore 2003
Last week I decided to surprise the family by cooking something a little different - tagliatelle with spinach, mascarpone and parmesan, a recipe from Jamie Oliver’s “jamie’s dinners” cookbook. Delicious it was too. Page 188, BTW.
But I was quite surprised that the Sagramoso went so well with it. Not over-powering and very moreish. I don’t drink much Italian red, finding it too heavy generally, but this one went down well.
