Asda Masa Gua Pinot Grigio 2004

From the Asda “Extra Special” range this Masa Gua Pinot Grigio is well worth the £5.99 price tag.

It’s crisp and clean, with delicious citrus flavours. And it’s very drinkable, belying its 13.5% strength.

If I had to criticise it it would only be to wish the after-taste lingered a slightly longer.

I’ve had a poke around on the web for any information on the name Maso Gua. It appears the name derives from the Gua hill or mountain, and the fact that it was colonised to Maso in 1500, according to the www.concilio.it
